How much do delivery drivers in Portland get paid?
- In order to keep and attract a high performing, intelligent delivery drivers we have created a very competitive pay model that is very transparent and above the fair market value the services of a delivery driver using their own vehicle. Below is more detailed information about how your business will earn its money.
- Base Pay + Mileage Rate* + Promotions = Total Earnings
- Base Pay is IBS’s base contribution for each job. Majority of jobs will be within your local city under an hour of drive time from pickup to destination. The base is $23 regardless of time or distance.
- Mileage rate range is from $0.75 - $1per mile after the 1st 15 miles. Factors that affect the range of an OnDemand drivers mileage rate is the drivers completion rate, average weekly availability, amount of weekly miles driven and jobs taken.
- Promotions are additional pay for orders that meet certain conditions, and or have additional requirements outside of pick and drop giving the opportunity to make even more money.
